I wouldn't read this blog either.
Wow, has Pensive Frog gotten boring all of a sudden, or what? I think this is entirely attributable to school starting. I have fewer "work-from-home" days and more "PCR-in-the-morning, meetings-and-seminars-in-the-afternoon, stumble-home-and-scrounge-dinner" days. Oy. No one ever told me that a Ph.D. would be this much work. At least I'll be fantastically rich at the end of it all. You can't spell "academics" without "midas", you know. Ha.
I did attempt to go to the Seattle Opera's Costume sale on Saturday. I was scared away by the line, but according to this article, it sounds like it was a fun day for those that got inside. If I had known that opera subscribers got in early, I totally would have gotten season tickets. Grrrr.....
Anyway, I finished my LMKG wristwarmers, and boy are they cozy! It only took one skein of Knitpicks Elegance to make both, which makes this project a last-minute CHEAP knitted gift. Too bad all my relatives live in the desert, or they'd all get wristwarmers for Christmas.
