How quickly we forget

It takes me about... oh... a month to knit a pair of socks. Considering that Magknits comes out monthly, and Knitty and Interweave Knits come out quarterly, and there are tons of great sock books hitting the shelves, not to mention the fabu patterns that bloggers offer on their sites, it's no wonder that some of these sock patterns slip through the cracks. I just realized that there are so many sock patterns out there that I fully intended to make, and then forgot about. Rather than looking for new patterns, I think it's time to look back at some old ones. So here's a list I've made for myself, and for other forgetful sock knitters (I know you're out there). Free patterns are linked, caged patterns are sourced. Socks I've made, and would re-make in a snap: Grumperina's Jaywalkers (I've already made 2 pair - stop me, someone!) Evelyn A. Clark's Go With the Flow (Interweave Knits, Summer 2005) Socks I'd make in the near future: Anna Bell's Elfine's Socks Socks I'd make in the distant future when I'm an expert knitter and we all get to work by jetpack:
